Screens for Your Home Theater System

There has been a recent surge in the popularity of the home video projector. No, I am not talking about those things you used to watch filmstrips on in second grade, but the more modern version that uses digital video projection and DVDs. The new models can provide large, clear views for movies and home movies that people enjoy viewing over and over again. Video projections, however, are only as good as the surface that they are projected onto. Many people, when they first buy their new projector want to project the images onto a white wall. This will work, but the picture quality will be poor. You want to match the projector with the screen. Screens come in many varieties, from the DIY bedsheet screen to the most elaborate remote controlled electrical models that are hidden in your ceiling. They also are offered in a variety of finishes to match with the video projector paired with them.

Biometrics And E - Identity E -Passport

A passport is an internationally recognized travel document that verifies the identity and nationality of the bearer. A valid passport is required to enter and leave most foreign countries. The terrorist attacks on mainland USA on September 11, 2001 (hereafter known as 9/11) have transformed the way governments worldwide handle security and immigration control issues. One of the responses is the planned enhancement to identification of citizens, to be deployed worldwide, and based on biometric technologies. Biometrics support automatic association of identification tokens with individuals through comparison of digitized and actual physiological or behavioral characteristics. The biometric passport (sometimes known as an e-Passport) has a new design and additional new security features. New features include pages with intricate designs, complex watermarks and a chip and antenna. A biometric passport is a combined paper and electronic identity document that uses biometrics to authenticate the citizenship of travelers. The passport's critical information is stored on a tiny RFID computer chip, much like information stored on smartcards. Like some smartcards, the passport book design calls for an embedded contact less chip that is able to hold digital signature data to ensure the integrity of the passport and the biometric data.
