What Is File Association And Its Relation With The Registry?
A file association is the program that windows associate with a file. Windows will detect what type of file it is and then associate it with the appropriate program and launch the program when the file is opened. Once we are done with the files we delete the files but the programs remain in the system. The list of such programs builds up over time and we need a windows registry cleaner to clean the registry of these redundant files and programs.

Life Without High Speed
Was it just a few short years ago that life on the internet began to take on a life of its own?
Was it just a few short years ago that I thought that a 2GB hard drive would be all I'd ever need?

Windows 98 Error
Here is the most likely problem with your Windows 98 system. Windows 98 has a bad habit of crashing. I define crashing as either a blue screen, restarting for no reason, of locking up. Or, rather I guess I should say that the Windows 98 error caused all of my crashes. But it is pretty easy to fix.

Is It Really Progress
How can a society that exists on instant mashed potatoes, packaged cake mixes, frozen dinners, and instant cameras teach patience to its young?
-Paul Sweeney
I came across this quote today and it made me stop and think of how impatient we have become.
When computers first came out, people expected that it would take some time for them to process whatever actions we had given them to do. Huge rooms were devoted to the computers. The instruction cards were input and the operators went off to do other things while the computer churned away on its task, eventually spitting out the information at the other end.
