Most of us are guilty of over-consumerism today. One of the things that most of us have is having more clothes than we actually needed. It is such a shame to dump it into the trash, when it could be going to good use.

Media Overblows JonBenet Murder Story Again
As if one round of shoddy reporting, speculation and guilt before innocence reporting wasn't enough, the mass media is at it again in the latest round of the JonBenet Ramsey murder saga.
The media, which widely cast blame on JonBenet's parents, John and the late Patsy, is laying blame on a man who made a confession that has not even been confirmed.

Disease of Fear, Disease of Hate, and Human WMDs
On the heels of President Bush's recent press conference, during which he hoisted the Republican 2006 national campaign flag of fear, Curt Weldon, a House Rep from Pennsylvania—a state that is the political equivalent of Sybil—summed it all up very neatly. He boldly stated, if we leave Iraq now, we'll be fighting the terrorists in our grocery stores and streets.
Oh, really?

People are Saying...But, I Believe That
Hearing v/s believing…thinking v/s trusting, this is one topic that flashed into my mind when I went for my morning walk. Or when your parents scold you the last time…how they started? Let me jog your memories and say that most of the time…it starts with following or any of the following phrases:
1) I heard that…
2) I think that…
3) People are saying that…
4) XYZ was saying that… etc etc etc

Pluto - Cast Off and Treated Like a Bum
I am in mourning for an old friend. I am depressed. Along with his eight siblings, Pluto is the guy I grew up with. Like the unwanted weakling of a herd of wildebeest roaming the Serengeti plains of East Africa, dear Pluto has been racially profiled a dwarf, stripped naked, nudged out of the family, discarded and condemned to eternally wander the vast emptiness of space, alone and forgotten. Having spent years of my youth at the wondrous Hayden Planetarium, kid sister to an older brother's passion for astronomy, I too developed a strong sense of connection to the mysteries of what's out there. Comets and asteroids come and go, but a planet is a thing of beauty forever.
